Transformative Journeys – an Erasmus+ Project
Building on previous initiatives, Transformative Journeys is designed to support the well-being and personal development of young people facing challenges, using innovative and creative methodologies.
The first Train-the-Trainer workshop took place in Malta, where participants explored how somatic practices—drawing mainly on fundamental techniques from Chinese martial arts—can be used therapeutically in sessions with young people.
The second workshop, Wilderness Therapy, was held at the Birch & Ant Camping Site in Poland. This training equipped participants with a diverse set of tools and knowledge to navigate group processes in nature and empower young people through outdoor experiences.
The final Train-the-Trainer workshop will be held in Iași, Romania, from 15–20 March 2026, and will focus on Narrative Approaches for working with young people.
Thanks to the collaboration between KVF, Prisms Malta, Psiterra Association, and Imago Foundation, participants in these workshops have gained effective tools and strategies to engage with young people facing a range of challenges, including trauma, loss, serious illness, mental health difficulties, and social exclusion.
